It’s the tastiest of all covert missions: Each year, Air Canada sets out in search of the top dining experiences from coast to coast. Food writer Andrew Braithwaite set out on a month-long dining marathon — 5 weeks, 30 restaurants, 198 dishes...a hangover or two — to crown the country's Top 10. These restaurants stand out for quality ingredients, smart service, stunning locations and chefs with a vision — the stuff that great meals, and great memories, are made of.
For the first time, contending restaurants found out who won live at the Canada's Best New Restaurants Gala. To honour the occasion, the Air Canada enRoute team asked us to design a special edition newspaper announcing the winners. It was handed out at the gala and will be available in the seat pockets of Air Canada's Premium and Business Class cabins for a limited time.
